Your Host
Hi, my name’s Julie and along with my talkative African Grey parrot, “Girlbird” and blue heeler mix, “Shelby”, I’d like to welcome you to the Fox Creek Inn in beautiful Teton Valley, Idaho. The house that is now the B&B was purchased in October 2005 with expansions and renovations undertaken and completed during the Summer of 2007. The Inn opened to guests in November 2007.
Originally from New Orleans, I’ve also lived in Indiana, North Carolina, and Maryland. I recently moved to Victor, Idaho in 2007 after spending 14 years living and working in London.
It has been my dream to own and operate a Bed and Breakfast in the mountains for over 15 years, and I’ve tried to make the Inn as luxurious as possible while sacrificing nothing in the way of comfort for my guests. While living in Europe, I visited many quaint, family-owned and usually stunning guesthouses and B&B’s in the French, Irish, English and Italian countryside. My inspiration for Fox Creek Inn has come from my experiences of staying in these charming places.
In preparation for opening the B&B, I took a cooking class with French chef, Phillipe Gion in Avignon, France in October 2006. While we (i.e. “I”) concentrated a bit too much on wine tastings – I’ve tried to incorporate Phillipe’s flair for creating simple but delicious dishes into the breakfast menu at the Fox Creek Inn. Please let me know what you think!
I look forward to your visit and if there is anything I can do to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, please ask!
